Jesus has done so much for me in my life. I'm not able to share everything because it may take pages to write. Let me just share how Jesus blessed me on two of my birthdays.
My eldest daughter is a miracle from God. I had experienced 2 miscarriages before I conceived her. Those were sorrowful experiences for me. Shortly after my second miscarriage, I heard testimonies of God's supernatural power. This was something new to me but somehow after hearing the testimonies, I believed God would do the same for me. Someone prayed for me and prophesied that I would give birth within a year. The pastor who was also there shared the Word of God with me. He asked me to claim God's promises in the Bible because God's Word is the truth. God is faithful. His promises will not return to Him void.
As soon as I got home, I practiced what the pastor shared with me by reading God's Word daily and claiming His promises. Apart from that, I spent time with Jesus by worshipping Him and praying every day. My relationship with Jesus grew closer. I trusted that Jesus would bless me with a baby.
A couple of months later, I felt God giving me an assurance that I was going to conceive. True enough, I conceived and gave birth to my daughter one day before my birthday.
As my daughter grew older, she felt lonely, being an only child. She longed to have a sibling. It was painful to see my daughter so lonely. At that time, my brother-in-law gave me CDs on sermons by Pastor Benny Ho from Australia. In one particular CD, he preached that God is a "God of second chances". He was sharing from the book of Ruth. God revealed that He is a God of love, grace and providence.
Upon hearing this, I sought the Lord and asked Him to give me a second miracle. God is amazing! He heard my prayer. He blessed me with a baby boy. My son is the evidence of God's grace to me.
However, the greatest gift I received from God is His Son, Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus that I received the gift of salvation and I am able to experience His amazing love and grace. I thank God that even though I had gone through pain and sorrow, He was there with me. I have experienced His miracles, grace and faithfulness. I am forever grateful to God for everything that He has done for me. I give all glory to God!
